Top Stats to Monitor For a Successful Online Campaign

By ADTACK Marketing on January 08, 2016

When running an online campaign, monitoring your stats on a regular basis is extremely important. Doing so enables you to determine what's working for you and what isn't, allowing you to adjust and change your campaign for optimal success. Make note of the following stats that if you're not already checking, you should be doing so on a weekly basis.

Blog Post Views

Check the number of times that each of your blog posts has been viewed. This allows you to determine what interests your readers, as the higher the number of viewings, the more interest the post has generated. By knowing what type of content gets the greatest number of views, you can better cater to your audience when deciding what to write about.

Call to Action (CTA) Click Through Rates

Look to see the percentage of people that have clicked on your CTA, which leads you to a landing page that you want your readers to see. You can use a variety of CTA's leading to different information and then determine which one has the highest success rate.

Social Media Reach

Keep track of the number of people who are following your social media page or have "liked" your page. The more people you have in your social media circle, the more people who have access to your blog posts. This is also a great way to reach more people, as via social media avenues, your work can easily be shared. When you see your social network grow, make note of what you did the previous week that resulted in the increased number.

Email Click Through Rates

Check to see how many people have clicked through what your email is promoting. This could be determining how many people clicked on a link or how many people clicked on your CTA. This will also inform you of what your readers like to read, which allows you to cater your emails to the likings of them.

Landing Page Conversion Rates

This is the number of people who completed a form on your landing page, which determines the number of leads you are generating. You'll also be able to determine from there how many of the leads have panned out. Knowing this information will help you to determine which landing pages and content work well for you and your marketing campaign.

Progress Towards a Monthly Goal

By looking at your stats on a weekly basis, this can help you to determine if you're on your way to reaching your monthly goal. Also, by checking weekly stats, you can make adjustments throughout the month to help you reach your goals.
